Tour de Cure started with a dream – a dream of a cancer-free future. We want to tackle cancer head-on and be relentless in our pursuit of curing cancer. We know it’s a big task, but one that we won’t shy away from. It’s this ambition, backed up by the energy of our team, our riders, our fundraisers, our volunteers, and critically, the researchers we help fund, that means we’ve raised $106 million over the past seventeen years. The possibilities of what we can achieve are endless and we’re not stopping until cancer does.

Tour de Cure's purpose

We believe the biggest way we can make an impact is by raising the money that the incredibly smart and innovative research and science community needs to unlock new approaches.

Not everyone can be a scientist, studying cancer and finding those breakthroughs that bring us another step closer to a cure. But everyone can play a part in helping to cure cancer, whether that’s through joining a tour to fundraise, making a regular donation, or giving up some time to help us.

We know that working together, united in our focus to improve the lives of people living with and beyond cancer – and one day, find a cure – we can make a real difference. By bringing together individuals, families, corporate partners and the Australian community, we fund the boldest research, the most talented scientists and the world-class cancer projects that we believe will have the biggest impact.

Since 2007, we’ve been funding incredible work in cancer research, support and prevention including:
